Hey Class 2
What lovely children there are in Class2! Georgina has been busy writing a letter and gathering snacks for NHS staff at Leicester Hospital. Have a look at our Fun and Photos file to see her amazing activities. Well done, Georgina.
Well, I never thought that I would be in the same story as Messi, but as you will see from Archie's story ending, miracles do happen!
I have added Alex's amazing story ending to the website (below) and have a feeling that, like Alex, someone else has also sent one in but it got lost when Mrs Mann forwarded it to me. If you have sent one in but it is not on here, please do so again so that I can put it on here. It would be amazing to have some more story endings to put onto here so that your friends can see your super writing.
The Fishers have set up their own working wall, which is pretty spectacular, and is in the Fun and Photos folder below. Please send in any photos that you would like to put on here for your friends to see.
I hope that you have managed to spend a bit of time in your gardens and that you have managed to exercise your bodies and brains.
I still miss you all an incredible amount but I know that you will be making the most of your time at home to learn and have fun. And I just know that you are being super kind to everyone in your house .......
Take care and enjoy the Easter break,
Useful Information about Class 2
Our class motto is "Be the Best YOU Can Be!". We have incentives and initiatives to encourage your child, and a varied curriculum to inspire and engage.
If you have ever wondered what your child gets up to in class, have a look at the photos below!
For Term 4, yoga will be on Tuesdays and PE on Fridays (where possible). As the weather will vary, can you please make sure that your child has their indoor and outdoor PE kit/shoes in school at all times?
We have DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) most days and your child will also have time to read their reading books. Can you please make sure that reading records are in school every day?
Every week, those pupils who show great strength and determination are named as Weekly Work Warriors. If five or more pupils are awarded this prestigious title in any given week, the whole class is allowed Weekly Warrior Time. You will be notified if your child is a warrior so that you can celebrate their achievement.
Pupils are always encouraged to drink lots of water, and they will be able to refill their bottles throughout the day. Taking them home at the end of each day is a little more challenging.......
Please come and see me if you have anything that you would like to discuss!
