Well done to everybody for completing a whole week's worth of learning on TEAMS. We are so proud of you all for being so flexible and not making a fuss when the screen froze or you were waiting in the lobby! It is a steep learning curve for us all and we have fully appreciated your patience and support.
You will find the new week's learning below. As always, please don't feel that you have to complete everything here. If you are joining us on TEAMS, then you may not need any of it as we will try to guide you through your activities as best we can.
Getting outdoors is going to be extra important now that we are all using our screens to learn throughout the day. Try if you can, to go for a walk, run, skate or cycle- it really does make a difference to your well being.
Any questions or queries, please don't hesitate to get in touch via Dojo.
Good Afternoon Everyone,
First of all- thank you so much for your patience in such difficult circumstances. You will find activities here for the next three days learning. We have also attached a proposed timetable for next week's learning. This includes some live online opportunities for teacher and pupils to get together. Please be aware that this timetable is only a guide and each day may be amended as we learn more. We would like to kick off our online journey with a story at 12pm this Friday. Please do join us; we would love to see you all. Simply log in to your TEAMS account (for 12pm) and wait to be called. See you there!
Packs that include worksheets, pupil journals and Practice books will be available to collect from school tomorrow. If you have any questions or queries, please do contact us via Dojo and we will do our upmost to help.
Thanks again for your continued support,
Mrs Reynolds and Mrs Tosney

Welcome 2021.
A New Year with lots of opportunities for new learning and new challenges (and we know that you will all rise to the challenges).
Please find below copies of the knowledge organisers for Term 3. Have a look at the vocabulary that we will be learning. Do you know what any of it means? Do you already know anything about electricity that you can tell us?
Jump in, whole heartedly, and enjoy our Term 3 journey.
Please find below, copies of our Knowledge Organisers for Term 2.
What do you already know about these topics? What else would you like to find out? Don't forget to keep 'Interrupting your forgetting' with the topics that we covered in Term 1.
Here we go, so hold on tight and enjoy the journey (and of course, have lots of fun)!
What a fabulous start back in Rosa Parks Class. The children have worked very hard all week and settled into our new routine amazingly. Well done!
Please read what we will be learning about this term, in our Class newsletter.
Also, have a look at our Meet the Teacher power point, to provide you with lots of information about our class, such as routines, homework, values and the adults who will teach and support our children.
Don't forget to login to our class Dojo so that you can see what amazing skills the children have demonstrated.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Reynolds/Mrs Tosney, via the school office.
Apologies for the delay - technical issues! Please enjoy our Leavers Assembly 2020! We start with the children delivering their memories of being at Great Casterton CE Primary School.
Dear Class 3,
Well we made it- the very last week of term! You will be able to enjoy being with your friends on your last day and clearing out those awful trays! If you have any questions about next year, use this opportunity- we will be happy to try and answer them for you. Year Six- don't forget to in a white t-shirt to be signed!
We would like to take this moment to say a huge, 'Thank you' for being so sensible and mature over this unusual period. You have all taken the changes in routine in your stride and made the last few days that we have had together awesome. We are so proud of you all.
It has made all the difference having such wonderfully supportive parents too so a big thank you to you too for working with us to best ensure your children are happy, safe and thriving.
The Leavers Power Point and Music Video will be posted here on Tuesday after the children have seen it at the Leavers Assembly. If you would like a copy, you can send in a memory stick and we can pop it on for you-no problem.
Have a lovely summer and we will see you again very soon. Year Six- you have been amazing. Good luck at, 'Big School!'
Something to read!
Why don't you have a read of JK Rowling's new story?
https://www.theickabog.com/read-the-story/
She will post the chapters on-line for us to read but she is also asking children to get involved in an illustration competition. We have some super artists in Class 3, why don't you give it a go?
