Tim Peake
Welcome to Term 6.
We can't believe that it is Term 6 already. However, we won't be thinking of this as a final term, but the beginning of new things to come. We will start to think about transitions: Year 5's becoming the oldest children in the school and starting to take on some more responsibilities (under the watchful eye of Year 6); Year 6's preparing to leave us for secondary school and going for their visits and then coming back to tell us all about the amazing things that they are going to enjoy about their new schools; also, the beginning of summer and all the fun things that we do, such as Sport's Day, Summer Fete, Leaver's production and just enjoying being outside in the sunshine, with our friends.
This term we are thinking about whether we would choose to live in Scotland or Greece by looking at geographical regions and physical characteristics and making comparisons. Continue to look at how the Earth's rotation decides whether it is day or night and in PE, we will enjoy all the fun that playing rounders brings. This is just some of the learning that will take place in Tim Peake Class (please read the Class Newsletter and Knowledge Organisers for further information and specific language).
Please contact us via Dojo (and we will respond as soon as we are able), the school office, or in person if you want to discuss anything with us or if there is anything that we can help with. We look forward to seeing you all over the coming weeks.
