Welcome to Term 3!

Blimey, where did Term 1 and 2 go?! This term our topic is Food and Nutrition.  We are going to be learning all about seasonality. We will be learning how to follow a recipe and make bread before designing our own unique bread product that takes advantage of seasonal produce.  We hope to rope in Mrs Gooding as our Prue Leith...for some taste testing and judging at the end.  We just need another volunteer to be our Paul Hollywood...

In our science, we kick off by learning all about the life cycles of insects, birds, mammals and amphibians.  We will also learn about reproduction in plants before finding out all about how and why plants and animals are classified.

RE is exceptionally interesting this term. We will learn who Buddha was and retell his story. We hope to learn about meditation and how this can help to focus our minds. By learning about Buddhist beliefs and practises, we can also reflect on our own and how they compare.

To find out more about our fantastic learning this term, have a look at our termly class newsletter. If you have any questions or queries, please don;t hesitate to get in touch via Dojo or the office.
