Week 5

You might be in a really good routine by now and feel like you've got this! Or you might be feeling like this is never ending and things are not getting any easier. I have tried to stick to the same formula to make things easier for you and your child, but I know it must be getting harder to motivate them as the weeks go on. Please adapt the activities to suit you and your child. If you would rather go outside and chalk the spellings on the path,  build a Tudor house out of Lego or do maths practically by playing a game this is fine. In the classroom we adapt things all the time as no day is ever the same, and what works brilliantly one day may not work the next day. Children, like us, have good days and bad days, tired days and grumpy days and days when they amaze us with what they can do. I'm sure they are no different at home, so don't be too hard on yourself if things don't always go as you plan!
