Monday 1st June
Good Morning,
I hope you all had a lovely half term, and enjoyed the beautiful weather we've had. I've added this week's home learning below so take a look and see what you fancy doing. I am in school this week so if you want a chat, or have anything you would like to discuss just contact the GC office, via email or phone, and I will get back to you asap. I'm really looking forward to being back in our classroom this week as it reminds me of all the great memories of things we have done.
Have fun,
Mrs Wood
Tuesday 2nd June
What a lovely day I had in school yesterday. It was so nice to see those children who were back and we had lots of fun playing and meeting up with our friends. For those of you who aren't back yet, we missed you but hopefully look forward to seeing you soon. Even though I'm having lots of busy fun in the classroom, I will make time to keep in contact with those of you who aren't here yet, so please do still send me your lovely work and messages as I would love to see them and share them with your friends.
Keep busy
Mrs Wood

Wednesday 3rd June
Good morning all,
Well it's been a lovely couple of days in school. We did some phonics revision, played some maths games and made some fantastic Skittle rainbows yesterday afternoon and also enjoyed the sunshine, as I'm sure you all did too.
At last I got to announce who the Year 1 winner of our writing competition was. Can you remember that? We wrote a story based on The Queen's Hat way back in March and I gave them to Mrs Ellis at Empingham to judge. Unfortunately then we had to stay at home so you never got to find out who the winners were. Well the Year 1 winner was...
Sophia
and she was presented with a beautiful atlas today.
Year 2s I will announce your winning story once we are back together.
Take care everyone
Mrs Wood

Friday 5th June
What happened to Thursday?? I think I was so busy planning what we are going to do next week that I missed a day! Or perhaps the weather was so miserable that I didn't get out of bed?
Anyway I don't know about you , but I can't believe it's Friday already. I had an email from Ava-Mae with a photo of some great work she's been doing. Take a look at it below. I'm very impressed with her use of time words and the labelling of her dragon. I'm will be in school at GC this morning so feel free to give me a call if you would like a chat, or email me and I will call you.
I hope you are all ready to have a great weekend.
See you soon
