Day Three

Wow, what a day today was.  It started off with an amazing video from the Fantastic Fishers that I have  spent over an hour trying (and failing) to upload onto here of them singing happy birthday with a cake that they made (and they managed to make it educational by photographing each stage of the cake making and writing instructions - wow).  I have watched/listened to it on a loop as I love it so much!

A BIG shout out to Archie, Henry, Georgie, Jack, Alex and Jayden for making the most amazing cards and then asking their parents to email them in.  I can not tell you how much I enjoyed receiving these.  Please please save them for when we return to school so that I can keep them.

I am having huge problems saving some of the photos that have been sent in, and although I loved the one of Archie playing in his den (bringing back lovely memories of hours of playing Monopoly in a similar den with my siblings when I was your age) it disappeared before I could save it.  However, I did manage to save a fantastic picture of Jack's birthday cake and one of the lovely Georgina, which are in the Fun and Photos star folder.  Mrs Mann is now going to copy and paste any photos that are sent in so I do not lose them.  Anyway, enough about you already.......

I hope that you have managed to have lots of fun today.  Don't forget the spelling activities in your folders that went home and the coding sheet (also in your packs).  It would be amazing if you could all program by the time we return.  I have been enjoying my favourite birthday present today which is a  book by my favourite author - please try and read every day, and maybe read to your siblings too.  Or even your teddies as I know they love a good book.

It will be Wednesday when you read this (but Tuesday when I write it, as I write these messages the day before), and half way through the working week.  I am hoping that the weather will get warmer, but remember to spend some time outside in our lovely spring.  Above all, remember to be kind to each other and do what you can to help your parents.

Have a great Wednesday and have lots of fun!  Thanks again for the lovely birthday cards and video!

Mrs Petrieheart

p.s. as if today could  not get any better, I have just got an incredible birthday video from Georgina singing which has been the cherry on this lovely cake of a birthday x
