Welcome to

Great Casterton CE Primary School

Day Two

Salut Class 2

Me and my grande bouche (look it up to translate!).  No sooner do I mention my appreciation of Tristan NOT wearing his Liverpool kit for his photo, that I open  my email today to see a further photo where he is not only wearing the full kit, but also a very cheeky grin.  I was also delighted to receive a video of the very talented Kaya on her guitar, and both parents gave permission for these two to be shared, so they are saved in the star at the bottom of this weeks stars for you to see.  As if this was not enough to brighten my day, I was busy thinking of another pupil on my once-a-day walk and then up popped the most incredible photos of all that she has been doing which lifted my heart yet further.  Thank you for all of these, they are really keeping me going and I am sure you will all want to see what your peers have been up to to keep you going, too.

If your parents are happy to share any photos on here of work or activities that you have done, I am more than happy to put them on this website.

Although it is a bit cooler, I hope that you have managed to get outside and see what is growing in your garden and your local area.  I love this time of year as I never remember what I planted in my garden and whatever grows in spring is always a lovely surprise.  If you have any chalk and enough space, you could always set up a game of hopscotch (seeing a photo of one of you with chalk in your garden gave me this idea).

I have quite a few websites that I am keeping up my sleeve for your Easter break, but I have attached a photo (again in the star folder at the bottom of the five days for this week entitled "Fun and Photos" - which, hopefully, you will remember is alliteration) of a lovely activity that I saw for recycling milk cartons.  I am sure that you are being resourceful and thinking of your own fun things to do, and again I am more than happy to share them on this website.

Gosh, just remembered that it is my birthday today, so happy birthday to me and happy Tuesday to you.

Keep smiling and keep busy!

Mrs Petrie wink
